Jean, I wanted to take a moment to let you know how appreciative we are. Our wedding wouldn’t have been complete without you. With Bobby being gone for the time of the engagement and me working and going to school full time your attention to detail and organization helped greatly. Your connection to the best vendors was key. Our flowers were beautiful, the cake was amazing and Mallory did the best makeup, the list goes on. I absolutely loved your assistant Lisa; she helped take care of every need. You are an amazing event and wedding planner. I would recommend After The Proposal to any newly engaged couple. This is BEAUTIFUL! I LOVE your engagement pctruies!! We did a similar thing for our guestbook but with Picaboo. We also used Picaboo for our wedding photo album (which also doubled as Christmas gifts that year!). But Shutterfly looks pretty awesome, too!

Jean, I don’t think that we could ever express to you how grateful Dominic, my Dad, and I are for such an amazing wedding day! As a bride to be, I remember going back and forth so many times with the idea of hiring a coordinator, and looking back, it was absolutely the smartest decision I made. When we first met, I realized that although I thought I knew what I wanted, I really had no clue! Without forcing me in any direction, you helped guide me so that we could bring my visions together into one cohesive design. Aside from that, and above and beyond anything else, you gave us exactly what we wanted. We had a wedding day that we (and all of our family and friends) could enjoy because we were held in good hands and did not have to worry about a single thing! It has been about 4 months now and people are still talking about not only how beautiful it was but about how much fun it was! I can’t tell you how many of us wish we could do it all over again multiple times! =) We waited almost 12 years for the wedding of our dreams and because of the “surprises” that came up during planning, I have to admit that had we not had your help, I don’t know if a wedding would’ve happened at all. You are amazing at what you do because you take pride in your work and you truly care for you clients, but I think the root of all of your success come from your deep appreciation for love and all that a marriage really represents. I met Jean after our caterer folded and took half our total wedding budget with him. From the first greeting that came out of her mouth I knew I was going to like this woman. She asked how I was going about re-planning our wedding and gave me some great advice then she floored me by donating her time for the Day-of Coordinator. I figured we would have one meeting prior to the wedding to go over logistics and then she would show up about 30 minutes before the wedding and help get people down the aisle. Well, she kind of giggled at me and said, "No, no....I'm here to help you get through the whole planning ordeal". Since I am an Interior Designer I had some very particular vision and had a majority of things planned out - Jean helped me sort things out, meet with other vendors, kept me from some Bridezilla moments, showed up not only the day before all bundled up to help set up but also came the morning of for last minute details. She goes well above and beyond in everything she does. In the end we had an amazing wedding in which we will cherish forever and I have gained a new friend. Thank you, Jean for putting your heart and soul into everything you do!

First off I just want to thank Jean so much! When Jean and I first met about the wedding my wedding was scheduled for a year away. However unforseen circumstances arose and the wedding got pushed up and we only had 3 months. Needless to say Jean did an AMAZING job! And when our officiant fell through Jean was right there to pick up the pieces of a broken bride and made our cermony elegant, eomantic, and every thing I could dream of! I highly recommend Jean to every bride. Thank you so much Jean! You truly are amazing!

We had an absolute blast at our wedding and it was all because of Jean at After the Proposal! She started out as a friend, prior to our engagement, and then when the wedding planning started, we knew we needed her!! She worked with our budget and kept us on track. Working a full time job and planning a wedding is no easy task. Jean made it enjoyable and fun! She knows a variety of great vendors and helped us find the right ones. When I was having a breakdown about where our ceremony site would be, she lifted me up, calmed me down and we figured it out! Your overall wedding experience should be wonderful and not stressful--Jean can do this for you! On the night of our rehearsal dinner I was a wreck....nerves were definitely kicking (and no one could have helped that). On our wedding day, however, I was calm, happy and worry-free because I knew that everything was getting done and I didn't have to do anything except be pampered and get ready to walk down the aisle! All the small things that you think you forgot--Jean has taken care of. We had such a fun time at our reception and did everything we wanted to because Jean kept us on track (cake cutting, dances, garter throw/bouquet toss, etc) It is true that it goes by so fast...you will see so many people and probably not get to greet them all--but you will have a blast! And you should, it's YOUR wedding day!! :) We highly recommend Jean for her creative ideas, organization, kindness, optimism and her overall love of weddings/events and her goal to please you! We loved our wedding day....we love you, Jean! Thank you!
